Because of unforseen and unfortunate circumstances, I am still without a husband…at least until Saturday afternoon.

However, my Mother’s Day presents arrived yesterday, which eased the non-homecoming a little.

I took this of a Forsythia bush, and even though it was a dreary, dark day, I played with the settings and was able to come up with this vibrant picture. I really like it, and submitted it to a photography blog I contribute to. At least, they put up with me and my not-quite-professional pics.
